TextQuick 1.5 is now available to more people than ever before! TextQuick 1.5 is distributed in an initial trial mode. This trial mode provides complete functionality for one month from installation. If you like TextQuick I'd encourage you to purchase a copy.

When you purchase a copy the Handango website will request your IMEI number. This is a unique number which identifies the handset your going to install TextQuick on. If you are already running TextQuick you can get this number by selecting "Options"



Then select "Register". This will display the following dialog box containing your IMEI number.



Alternatively if you don't have TextQuick yet you can obtain your IMEI number by going to the home / standby screen and typing "*#06#" which will display the following dialog.



Although this dialog refers to your IMEI as your "serial number" it is in fact the same thing.

When you enter the IMEI number on the Handango website you will be supplied with a registration code. To register TextQuick select "Options"->"Register" from the menu as shown above.



When you've finished entering your registration code select OK. If you entered an incorrect code you'll be prompted with the following pop-up.

If you entered the correct code you'll see a confirmation dialog appear like the one below.

Now if you check the "Options" menu you'll notice that the "Register" option has vanished.



You can check the registered status of TextQuick at any time, simply select "Options"->"About".

 

The about box will tell you if your application is currently running as a trial and how many days remain in the trial, if the application's trial has expired, or if the application is registered.
